Chapan is an ethnic Uzbek robe of a simple wide cut with straight sleeves, without buttons and fasteners.They are worn over the clothes of both men and women. (0491)
Upper - peach jacquard fabric
Lining - beige jacquard with an ethnic pattern, very soft and pleasant to the touch
Very wide sleeves, if desired, you can turn up and show a contrasting lining.
Chapan decorated with handmade ribbon and handmade tassels.
It has pockets and a belt
CONDITION: This robe is made of vintage suzani textiles from the 70s. We used it in the form in which this textile was found, and not in a freshly laundered form. Sometimes there are small marks with a pen that were used to apply the embroidery pattern.
Oversize fit.
Chapan measurements:
Length - 55.1" (140.0cm)
Length sleeve - 27.5" (70.0 cm) raglan length from collar to sleeve bottom
Chest -52.4" (134.0cm)
Hips - 56.0" (142.0cm)
Please note:
1) This chapan was made from a vintage suzani (large textile panels embroidered by hand or on a embroidery machine). Some of suzani could have small defects or traces of storage. Those small nuances make suzane more special and unique. Such products have a long history and ethnic magnificence. If you are not a vintage fan and prefer items in a perfect condition, you should think before buying such items.
