The previous owner was a smoker, and therefore, this machine does smell like cigarette smoke. It is not enough to stink up a room, but you can smell it when you're close by. At the moment of posting, we are adding an air freshener inside the unit to try and remove the smell as much as possible.

Also note that there is a backlight across the tuner dial, but it is not a very strong light. Replacing the existing light may give a better esthetic result.
