Following the traditional Japanese techniques, this Dorodango was created over many hours of shaping, rounding, and burnishing clay, chalk and dirt.

Never firing the clay, these are held in high regard for the years of their existence, pending the care they are provided.

Many a Dorodango has seen centuries of existence.

Approximately 2 in in diameter.

Proper care:

Keep in a cool, dry location, avoiding areas of the home with high humidity, like the bath/shower/kitchen.  When dusting, use a very dry cloth.  Zero moisture.

Please note:  These are primarily un-fired clay spheres. Getting them wet, a single drop of water, or even high humidity will return them to their original pliable state (mud and clay).

For any other questions, please ask.

Thanks.
