Needlework sampler from the 1850's with the alphabet, numbers, pictures and a religious verse. It is not framed.

It is signed Caroline Knight   aged 10   and looks like 1857 (not sure of the last digit)

It does have some stains , and a small area of damage (to the right of the last tree) but not surprising for an item approx 170 years old!

It measures   16 in  x 11 in 

It will be folded for posting, so may need a gentle iron if creased.

A charming little  piece of history.
