This auction is for a WW2 Polish Tank / Armoured Vehicle Captain with British Troops in Normandy (1944) and was sold only in Poland as part of a series of WW2 Polish soldier figures. The figure is made in 1/30 scale and has the type of uniform and equipment used by Polish tank and armoured vehicle officers fighting with the British in Europe throughout WW2. It is similar in style and appearance to those figures produced by King and Country for Del Prado and other part works sellers. The series is long out of production and is very rare.

This model figure has been painted to a very high standard in shaded colours, and the fine paint work includes very neatly painted eyes, face, buckles, buttons, badges (On helmet, sleeves and collar), medal, uniform and equipment. It is produced and painted to a higher standard than the usual Del Prado figures, and is much more comparable to the figures produced by King & Country, Collectors Showcase, etc. 

The figure is on a metal diorama style base and is approximately 6.5 cm high and the base 3 cm long.

This very unusual figure is great for anyone with an interest in military figures, in particular during WW2, as a stand alone piece or as an addition to an existing collection. It is fully compatible with figures produced by King and Country, Collectors Showcase, Thomas Gunn, etc.
