You are looking at an Art Deco era bakelite and brass metal table lamp. This one comes with 2 parts made of bakelite: a round disk at the base and a flaring stem. The color is butterscotch amber with swirls. No translucence. 

European make with B-22 socket and round European plug. North American adapter plug included. In working condition with manual in-line interrupter. Wire is safe.

Note: buld and socket adapter not included with this lamp. Photographed to show that the lamp works. Bayonet bulb can be purchased for this lamp.

The lamp has a 3 1/4" diameter at the base and stands 8" tall. The round bakelite part at the base is approx 2 7/16" in diameter and 5/8" tall. The flared stem is approx. 3 3/4" tall, 11/16" in diameter at the base and 1  1/8" at the top. Lamp weighs approx. 334 grams. I placed the wire off the scale to get as much of the lamp as possible. 

Overall very good is excellent. No chips, cracks or crazing. Some wear to the brass finish. Guaranteed bakelite and tested!
