A nice discovery in an antique market - it took a while to identify until I realised what I thought was a signature is actually a Rooster and an original Cantagalli piece in the Della Robbia style.

 

Slight marks and tiny chip to edge of the glazed section where it meets the frame otherwise in good original condition - as seen and photographed

Measures 38cm x 27cm in the frame

panel measures 27cm x 14cm

The enamelled section is secured in the frame with old nails

 - I have inserted pieces of card to protect it -
