 I am selling off a few of my New duplicate knives that I have been keeping in my Safe, and this is one of them. ðŸ˜€

  This knife is a New Benchmade Knives 928 Osborne Proxy First Production Run Knife, with a CPM-20CV Steel Blade, and Titanium / Tan G-10 Scales. When these first became available in 2016, I bought two of them, and had my choice of many of the production #'s, as I was early on the scene. I picked #396, and this #928. I thought having a Benchmade 928 Osborne Proxy First Production Run Knife, with the #928 on the blade was soooo special, I never carried this one. Now is your turn to be the cool kid on the block, by owning a 928 numbered #928! ðŸ˜Ž

  When I got this knife out of the Safe today, and opened it up for the pictures. I was reminded again of how tight these lockbars were when they came out. The detent ball really rides tight on the blade, during opening and closing. If I remember correctly? With my #396 knife, I just loosened up the pivot a touch, put a couple of drops of oil on the pivot, and a drop on the detent ball path. Then after opening and closing it a bunch of times, it broke in nicely, and soon became silky smooth. It was worth it, as this knife is a fine piece of Benchmade / Warren Osborne History!
