A delightful children's book with 9 chapters, each telling the story of a Middle-Eastern Prince, and each providing a puzzle for him to solve. 58 pages of text, followed by 5 pages of written solutions, and a further 4 pages of diagram solutions. 

A most attractive volume with illustrated covers, decorative endpapers front and back, full colour title pages, and further illustrations for each chapter, each in a mono-colour.

An unusual and scarce early 20th century book.

Size: 22.5cms x 17.5cms. Paginated to 63 pages (plus diagrams).
Condition: Cloth covers with illustration generally in good condition, with a little wear top and bottom of the spine. Inside tight and clean, with a gift inscription in ink "David Lukens Price from Grandmother Lukens" on a blank pre-title page. A good copy.
