THE FRONT IS TRIMMED IN CROSSING RUFFLES THAT ARE EDGED IN LACE WITH A MACHINE MADE LACE YOKE AND HIGH COLLAR.
BILLOWING PUFFS ATOP THE SHOULDERS WITH A BOX PLEATED ARM WITH TWO ROWS OF MATCHING RUFFLES WITH LACE AND LACE MATCHING THE TOP TRIMMING THE BOTTOM SLEEVE.
THE INTERIOR BODY IS LINED IN COTTON AND IS FULLY BONED WITH A VERY EARLY SNAP CLOSURE IN THE REAR. NOTE THAT A PANEL WAS ADDED TO THE BOTTOM TO INCREASE THE SIZE SLIGHTLY, NONE THE WISER BUT COULD EASILY BE REMOVED IF DESIRED. THE INNER BONES ARE LOOSE AND THEY NEED TO BE TACKED INTO PLACE WITH INNER BONING SHOWING THROUGH SLIGHTLY ON THE BOTTOM OF EACH.
THE SKIRT FALLS LONG WITH THREE ROWS OF RUFFLES TRIMMING ALL ALONG THE BOTTOM HEM WITH A FULLY BUILT IN PINK POLISHED COTTON PETTICOAT WITH RUFFLED BOTTOM.
HOOK AND EYE CLOSURE IN THE CENTER REAR.
CONDITION: THE LACE YOKE AND HIGH COLLAR HAVE AGE COLOR BUT IS EVEN, SLIGHTLY DARKER ON THE VERY TOP EDGE. THE INTERIOR LINING UNDERARMS ARE VERY HEAVILY STAINED BUT THE LINING KEPT IT FROM STAINING THE EXTERIOR.
THERE ARE FOUR LIGHT THUMBPRINTS OF FAINT AGE COLOR ON THE BOTTOM RUFFLES.
THE SKIRT APPEARS SLIGHTLY DARKER IN THE RED COLOR TONE.
