Vintage Cotton Hanky-1950's-Tammis Keefe-Betsy Ross House-Yellow/Red-NWT + 1

back to tammis's city designs in the United States. there are more than 6 for Philadelphia. this one is the Betsy Ross House. This is the birthplace of the American Flag and also a part of the 1800's history in Philadelphia.  You can still visit it today. a yellow border of little crosses with the house in a grey square background. no holes or tears or marks. measures 13 1/2 by 13  inches. I include a second design this one with yellow border and green background. the design itself is fine however the border is faded. how can that be?
