For your consideration is a curated lot of 20 vinyl record albums from the folk rock and celtic rock movements of the 1970s, with artists including Bob Dylan, The Byrds, Roger McGuinn, Mary Hopkin, and Horslips, mostly original pressings. There are some serious collector items in this lot, including a SEALED copy of Horslips 1973 album "Happy to Meet..." in Mint condition, with original promo sticker. You will also find several original pressings of Mary Hopkin's early work - Mary Hopkin, a Welch folk singer, was discovered by Paul McCartney shortly before he left the Beatles, and he signed her to Apple records and produced her album "Post Card". Horslips are often credited with being pioneers of Celtic rock in Ireland. Another notable inclusion is the highly regarded and hard-to-find "Cardiff Rose" by Byrds founder and early member Roger McGuinn, who left the Byrds early in their run due to personal reasons.

These records are in superb condition, with the exception of Horslips' "Book of Invasions", which is unplayable due to what is likely a manufacturing defect. That album is included because of the quality of the cover and it's contibution to the larger collection. See the list at the bottom of the description for details and grades for each LP. These records come from a personal collection which needs to be downsized on short notice, which is why these are being offered at auction as a lot with no reserve and low starting bid. This is a motivated seller, so be assured that all paid items will ship same day. All records have been lightly hand-cleaned using a clean Microfiber cloth with a mild cleaning solution of distilled water and a laboratory-grade residue-free surfactant. Each record comes in a clear poly protective jacket and has an inner sleeve which may or may not be original.
