President Kennedy applauds 17-year-old Mary Ann Kingry during White House ceremonies today in which she was awarded a medal for an exceptional career of service in the Junior Red Cross. The President predicted she may become the first woman to take over the job he now holds. He commented: "Well, the vice president recently predicted we'd someday have a woman president. I want to say it seems to me we may have a promising candidate here." She is from Saginaw, Michigan. At center is Representative Al Ullman, D-OR.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches.
