This is an original press photo. Leopards (Snow). New York. Bowser, the Bronx Zoo snow leopard, caresses the head of Tanya, snow leopard from the Oklahoma City Lincoln Park Zoo, today in the Bronx Zoo. They have been since early this year getting acquainted. Tanya last year gave birth to a pair of female cubs. a rare accomplishment. Her mate, Ivan The Terrible, died from the effects of tranquilizer darts after his capture following escape from the Oklahoma Zoo.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 4-18-1967.
