For your consideration is a lot of 47 vinyl record albums that run the whole gamut of Jazz, from depression-era swing to contemporary soul jazz. This collection is high grade and almost entirely original pressings, including many LPs from the 50s, when the format was first commercially produced. Highlights include a superb condition original pressing of Frank Sinatra's 1957 "Close to You" from his Capitol years before he did it his way and started the Reprise label. Another rare and valuable vocal jazz LP from this lot is Bobby Troup's "Here's to my Lady" from 1958. From the modal/bop era we have a Bossa Nova throwback from Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto, their second album together and a standout of that genre niche. There is much much more here, classics of 70s soul jazz from the Crusaders, big band era, Cab Calloway, the list goes on. The records in this lot are in large majority very good condition or better. For full pressing details and condition grades see the formatted table at the bottom of the description.

A couple of these albums include rare additional goodies, like a large fold-out poster of Fabian in excellent condition. See pressing and condition notes at bottom.

Each album is pictured in the listing gallery and is an accurate representation of the item's condition and appearance.
