Scarce and very nice grade CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA $10 Civil War currency note, issued at Richmond, September 2nd, 1861.

Hope with Anchor at center. R.M.T. Hunter at left. Christopher Memminger at right. Bold red fine lace X's either side of Hope.  Back is blank. Printed on high quality banknote paper watermarked C S A in block letters, clearly visible on the back. Cut-cancelled at signatures. (Certificate of Authenticity with identification of signers included at no extra charge).

Serial #30737. Hand signed by Confederate officials R.J. Delony, for Register, and H. Kepler, for Treasurer.

A beautiful note despite the cut cancels which are quite typical for this type. Priced very reasonably compared to similar on eBay. SEE PHOTOS.
