BMW AIRHEAD, R90S, 900cc, 97mm SPIGOT CYLINDERS, 1970-09/75, NICE CONDITION.
Spigot size, (where bottom of cylinder fits into engine block), is 97mm,
therefore, will only fit to 1969-1974, (actually 09/75 production), later ones are 99mm.
Am getting a measurement of about 90.70mm bore diameter.
Think you will need oversize pistons for these.
Cylinder walls look good, except for very bottom, where some moisture got to them for a while.
You can see it in the close up pictures, it is well below where the rings would ride though.
Think a good flex honing is all these cylinders need, but your mechanic can tell you better than I.
Fins all good and straight, no damage at all.
These have not been used for about 35 years.
