George III Sterling Silver large sterling mug or tankard by William & James Priest

The hallmarks date this to circa 1764

This is a beautiful Georgian sterling silver footed mug.

It weighs 13.49 troy ounces.

It is 5 1/8" tall

It is in very good condition but it does have a dent about 1/3 of the way up from the base

It is surprising that it is dented because it is pretty thick and heavy

The only other thing I found is a tiny dig on the handle **see photo and a little nick on the lip

**both very slight

I just hand polished this a little bit

It will definitely hold liquid and it is in working condition

The handle is attached firmly with no problems
