These are the best cantilever brakes I've used, and I've used many! I'm selling this set that I took off my significant other's cross bike. They've barely been used. Everything is included to successfully mount them on your cross or touring bike, except the straddle cable which is easy to find.
NOTE: Both of these are set up to be the "narrow" profile but either can be reconfigured to run in the "wider" style by moving the set screws on the back side of the pivot shown in the last picture. The notion that there are uniquely front or rear brakes is false as either can be configured to run in either position. I liked them in the narrow configuration, as shows.
