FASHIONED OF A THIN SILK WITH A POLISHED COTTON BACKING AND IS BATTED ON THE INTERIOR, FULLY HANDSEWN AND QUILTED THROUGHOUT.
CONDITION: AGE COLOR SEEN ON THE REAR NECKLINE WITH SPOTTING SEEN ON EACH SIDE OF THE FRONT, NOTE THE IMAGES. SEVERAL SMALL SPOTS OF BROWN STAINING SEEN TO THE CENTER REAR BACK, SMALL BROWN SPOTTING SEEN TO THE LEFT MIDDLE SIDE WITH SEVERAL DARKER PINPOINT STAINS ON THE EDGE OF THE LEFT NEEDLE SIDE.
THE INNER NECKLINE HAS STAINING AS WELL WITH A VERY TINY EDGE FRAY AT THE VERY CENTER NECKLINE EDGE.
SUCH A VERY RARE PIECE OF THE 18TH CENTURY. SOLD AS ACQUIRED.
