We partnered directly with Opus Trailers to create a bespoke Power Tank kit tailored to the owners of these fine off-road trailers. When airing up after an off-road adventure, the 65 psi recommended street pressure in your trailer's tires is pushing back against a typical 150 psi air compressor, effectively cutting its performance in half. With a Power Tank, not only do you have a much greater force of 250 psi, but also a flow rate of up to 45 cfm (high end 12v compressors top out at about 6 CFM).
Not only will the Power Tank air up your trailer and tow rig tires faster than any other on board air system on the market but it will do so time and time again with no moving parts to wear out or fail. The Opus Trailer Edition includes a Power Plate mount for a simple bolt-on mount to the luggage rack on your trailer as well as a snorkel tube to allow horizontal use of the CO2 inside. Not only that but we give you two 30 foot hoses that you can combine to air up all six tires on your vehicle without removing the Power Tank from its mount. When it's empty, take your tank to a local fire extinguisher service shop, welding supply store, or beverage carbonic shops, and have it refilled for about $15-$25.
