I use it in the attic to thwart away raccoons from the roof which had been an issue since 2019 requiring a roof replacement. I have to use medium setting as I could hear it in the bedroom with it on high. I can still hear it in the hallway though.

We bought the Bird-X for our motorhome to keep the mice out when we are not using it. A friend told us that he has one for his shop and it worked great for him. So far, no mice!! And it does NOT bother our dogs who are outside.

I purchased Bird-x to get rid of squirrels in my attic. When I activated the device as directed for squirrels, the squirrels continued to run around in the attic and the squirrels in the yard didn?t react at all to the high pitched sound.

Stopped working in 2 weeks.

As many of the other reviews state it does work but it is extremely loud. I had a bad squirrel problem could hear them trampling along my house each morning. I put this unit in a closet on loud and after 1 day the squirrels were gone. They stayed away for a few weeks and when I heard them again I turned the unit back on and they were gone instantly. However, you cannot drown out the noise. It is loud and annoying and you will hear it in each room of the house. It does what is says it will do. It did get rid of the squirrels and an added plus is I have not seen any spiders either.
