This came out of a closed down BMW shop many years ago. It was New Old Stock, but while experimenting around seeing if it would mount to any old BMW's I put some wear on it as far as the paint goes. and.has shelf wear from sitting around.

Fits no BMW Airhead I have tried it on,(comes close but not exact), therefore, I do not know what it is for.

Original newspaper it was wrapped in was from 1982, so has to be for a motorcycle that was around then.

From the very front top side of front loop to the very back of the rear loop is about 15"

The long loop which I think is the front facing one rises up about 3 3/4" from bottom of brace, (that seems a bit tight to me), rear loop rises up about 6".

The centers on the mounting holes are 60mm apart.

The flat steel mounts where the mounting holes are,  are 5 3/16", (132mm), from outside to outside. (where it would fit between the fork sliders).

The space between the tubes where the mounting holes, (front to back),  are is 2 7/8", (where it would fit up against the side of the fork leg).

Balance of measurements are shown in the pictures.
