GoPro hero 5 Black - minor fault

This camera is working but... the rear screen only works when the SD card is NOT inserted. Once the card is inserted, the rear screen goes Black.

The camera still records, and I've used it many times like this.

I suspect a minor fault as there's clearly nothing wrong with screen itself as it  functions fine without the card inserted.
