If you own a Kitchen Aid / whirlpool gas range, then you probably know about the delicate knobs which turn on with a slight brush or bumping as you walk by them. They are far from kid / toddler proof as well and this design issue is not considered unsafe by them, and you won’t get a repair approved as they will say these are working as designed..

This listing contains 5 custom rings that quickly slip around the knob, blocking any turning of the knob while not in use. The rings are customer designed out of flexible TPU (similar to silicone) and springy by the printed design.

The rings can remain in place and you can use the know like you would operate a medicine bottle; push in with pressure, then turn to operate. The intent is to make it hard to turn on, and protect from bumps, or small children playing.

See photos for fitment. These can also be easily removed when you want to use the burner, and put them on when not in use if desired.

These ingenious devices will save you peace of mind, and you won’t have to worry about gas spewing out after someone walks by the knob, or breathes on it the wrong way. A simple fix to a poor design that should have been corrected by recall at a minimum.
