This one has me confused! I could not find anything similar to this piece while researching, and I even research the company, Park Sherman Co., Springfield, Illinois, but I came up short! This looks very primitive, but I'm not sure it's an antique. It is OLD, and really unique. It does not spin, but this cool piece can have many functions. These are the ideas I had:

- hang key chains on the eight metal "hooks"

- you can also dump your change or larger keychains in the round bottom

- it looks like it can hold a thin taper candle in the top opening, and you could put votives around the flower-shaped metal at the base

- it could be used to hold shot glasses at the bottom

Basically, I'm clueless, but it's very charming and interesting, and it also gives a primitive vibe. It is stamped on the bottom with the company name and location, along with "Solid Walnut". It stands 7.5" H and is 7" D at the bottom. Very good vintage condition, no damage! (:
