Rosa Widmann (mentioned in the work "The celibacy of teachers in the Grand Duchy of Baden 1879 to 1918" by Esther Hiegel, Freiburg 2014, p. 66) was born in Konstanz in 1876 as the daughter of Arthur Widmann and Rosa, née. Merian was born and died at the age of 30 on December 31st. December 1906 unmarried in Karlsruhe (according to According to her death certificate she was a drawing teacher). The recipient Mary Stacy (*1874), recorded in the Karlsruhe address book from 1902 as "Miss. Marie Stacy", one of the few entries with her own telephone connection, later became friends with the religious socialist and communist, activist of the peace, women's and cooperative movements Dora Staudinger (1886-1964) before she moved from Karlsruhe to Zurich in 1912 . Mary Stacy's estate is located in the Karlsruhe city archives (signature 7/Nl Stacy).
