3 beautiful Coalport dessert dishes

Dating from circa 1825

The pattern is Chinese influenced with butterflies and bamboo hand painted in green with gilded seaweed - pattern number 2/310

As you can see they display very well

Condition

Remarkable condition for their age -but I do describe as fully as I can to manage expectations as these dishes are almost 200 years old perfection should not be expected

Shaped dish with shell handle -rings well no crazing that I can see ,some minor wear to gilding a few very small nibbles on the handle

Rectangular dishes

One rings well with only very minor gilt loss to the high points on the edges.

The second one doesn’t ring ,there is crazing visible underneath and has wear to the seaweed gilding ,there are three faults on the rim underneath

Size 21 x 24cm

Part of a larger set but very pleasing to display as a set of three
