10/20/50pcs Natural Catappa Indian Almond Leaves Fish Aquarium Ph Balance Condit
Description

Indian almond leaves, also known as Terminalia catappa, are commonly used in fish tanks for their numerous benefits:

1. **Water Conditioning**: The leaves release tannins into the water, which lower pH levels and soften the water, creating a more natural and comfortable environment for many freshwater fish species, particularly those from blackwater habitats.

2. **Antifungal and Antibacterial Properties**: The tannins and other compounds in the leaves have natural antifungal and antibacterial properties, which help prevent infections in fish and can aid in the treatment of existing conditions.

3. **Stress Reduction**: The natural substances released by the leaves can reduce stress in fish, promoting better health and coloration.

4. **Breeding Aid**: Many fish species, such as bettas and certain types of shrimp, use the leaves for spawning and as a shelter for fry, providing a more conducive environment for breeding.

5. **Natural Habitat Simulation**: The leaves create a more authentic and aesthetically pleasing environment, closely mimicking the natural habitats of many tropical fish, which can improve their overall well-being.

Using Indian almond leaves in a fish tank not only enhances the health of the fish but also contributes to a more balanced and natural ecosystem within the aquarium.

'How to Use
General Use:

Place the leaves in any filter, filtration system, or directly in the water.
Replace the leaves every two weeks.
Note: The water will become weakly acidic and pale yellow after use.
Daily Maintenance:

Add one leaf to 10-15 liters of water to keep fish active and healthy.
Extend the water change cycle from every other day to every 6-7 days.
Leaves can remain effective in the water for one week and work best in low-chlorine water.
Breeding:

Float a leaf in the tank to encourage fish reproduction, as some species prefer to build nests under dry leaves.
Treating Bacterial Infections:

Roll a leaf and place it in a small 1-liter tank with the sick fish.
Change the water every other day.
Avoid direct sunlight and maintain a temperature of 28-29°C.

Notes
The leaves are dry, so the size and volume of each leaf may vary.
Slight damage to the leaves may occur, but this does not affect their effectiveness.
