high quality violin for restoration full size, fully blocked and lined serial no .1252. scribed on the side of fingerboard, the spruce top is of very fine grain. there is a crack on the top right of the soundpost i can see repair patch on the inside of this but i think it could be done better, back length is 14 inch/358mm appox. strad label inside but does not tellme much. i feel this could be a very good violin with a bit of work, soundpost rolling around inside
