Vintage from 1970 years, a highly unusual Cartier Paris known as “Ellipse” and bears a beautiful stepped case. 

The exquisite model measures 29mm (from upper lug to the lower) x 32mm without counting the golden winding crown with a black cabochon, in very good conditions. 

This is a gents or unisex European dress watch, very comfortable to wear. small to medium gents size of Case. 

Case is 18k gold electroplated (not solid gold), it presents normal signs of wear but in very good conditions considering it is a vintage. 

Movement: high grade mechanical Swiss ( ETA 2512-1 caliber), manual winding, with 17 jewels.

The high grade movement was serviced by a master watchmaker (cleaned, oiled with fine Moebius 9010 Swiss oil and finally adjusted, runs well keeps excellent time) 

Dial: white glossy, classic Roman lettering dial, it was professionally refinished some years ago, Signed “CARTIER – swiss”, it is very clean, please observe.

Hands: original golden Dauphine pitched pair of hands, in used but good conditions.

Crystal: a new curved Crystal installed

Caseback: Original snap caseback, gold plated, Signed Cartier (18k gold electroplated, Swiss). In good conditions for the age and fully legible.

Wristband: No brand / new / 16mm / genuine leather band, with a cartier aftermarket modern gold-plated clasp. It will fit up to a 18cm wrist confortably. 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - This is not a quartz (battery) watch, you will have to manually wind the movement every day of use by rotating upwards the side crown, many revolutions until you feel it stops (25 - 30 revolutions.), rotate it gently. 

No Box or papers, not water-resistant.
