Absolutely gorgeous high eye appeal set of strictly better mint state coins across the board with brilliance. It features three brilliantly white mint lustrous silver coins. Half dollar and quarter exhibiting superior fields, dime with uncommonly seen split bands for this date/mint, brilliantly lustrous white nickel exhibiting a silver appearance, a low density strike typical for this date/mint, and a little lamination, and completed by the shimmering cent which has a filled "9" in the date. All choice brilliant uncirculated. A very nice proud to own 1954 San Francisco silver coin set in a quality display!

Clearly a flashy set which will be a substantial addition to one's collection, or outstanding as a birth year keepsake set for any "boomer" born in this particular year. It is handsomely housed in a new Capital 3 panel acrylic U.S. Mint Set display and comes with sleeve as shown in the multiple large images of the actual set offered.

This set consists of business strike (not proof) Lincoln wheat cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt silver dime, Washington silver quarter, and Ben Franklin silver half dollar. All five coins were produced that year at the U.S. Mint in San Francisco and bear the "S" mint mark. The three silver coins were struck in .900 fineness and are very mint lustrous.
