We pack all of our comics with great care.  We want them to arrive in the same condition we would want to receive them.  We pack everything so it is well protected.  Single books shipped media mail take extra precaution.  The major concern is making sure the books are not bent or dented during shipping.  We use foam density board to protect the books.  We pack the books between them for extra rigidity and dent protection. 

Single books take four pieces of board to adequately protect them from the rigors of shipping.  The cost of a single board is $1.00.  This is the handling cost.  The Entire cost goes into making sure your book arrives as safely as possible.
