Bayel, in the Champagne region of France was an important centre for making glass from the Middle Ages. It became famous for its fine-quality crystal glasswares in the seventeenth century. This is a discontinued piece.
Pattern : Americana - Hand Blown and since discontinued in the 1960's
Label : Bayel Cristallin France
Provenance: This was originally purchased and owned by my grandmother in the late 1950's. It was never used and still has the original labels. It has been safely packed up since the 1960's and unfortunately forgotten until my parents recently moved and was found again. It is time for someone to cherish this again like it had been in the past.
