Here is a very nice original Western Electric Dial Candlestick Telephone. The paint is original, and has been cleaned and polished. The mouthpiece is original with the trademark Western Electric Star in the center. The receiver is original, and has been cleaned and polished. The receiver cord is a quality reproduction.
The dial provides the desirable clicking sound when the dial is rotated and when it returns. This particular dial is an earlier version, showing patents applied for on the front base of the dial. The fingerstop is unmarked, also indicative of the earlier production of this dial. The number plate is UN Notched, and is a "numbers only" plate, which was used in rural installations. The base cover has the original leather covering, which is in good condition.
