I don't know the age of this chair as it's a estate find. Its a  beautiful little thing.  Measuring is tricky because of all the angles.  The seat bottom is 17 inches.  Its 36 inches long when folded up. 

Upholstery looks good and it is upholstered top and bottom and on the back as well.
