Tips for Charging and Resetting

Getting these devices to charge from a drained battery is not intuitive. We found that repeatedly plugging in the USB charging cable MAY eventually trigger the charging indicator light. Here's the process:

      Step                                                  Result

   1) plug in the USB charging cable       no effect on LED lights

   2) unplug USB charging cable

   3) wait 5 seconds

   4) plug in the USB charging cable       Status LED light flash green then blinks amber (low battery)

   5) unplug USB charging cable

   6) wait 5 seconds

   7) plug in the USB charging cable       DC-in light green (charging)

For stubbornly drained battery, try plugging in the USB charging cable and leave it alone for an hour before using the steps above.
