Selling an estate for a friend... we will be liquidating all kinds of electronics and miscellaneous this spring and summer, tubes, radios etc. Gramps was a radioman in the Korean War.....his retirement was spent repairing amplifiers & radios....he bought out the inventory of several repair shops and repaired electronics himself. Many of the original tube boxes were ruined by moisture, so they will ship in new boxes or carefully wrapped in bigger boxes. We didn't try to clean them, as we didn't want to harm the graphics.....(some of the graphics are already gone, or faint) some tubes are used as you can tell from the photographs or descriptions. I tried to show the getters and graphics as much as possible.......from what we can tell, he didn't keep anything that wasn't up to spec....and the tube matching was done on a Triplett 3423.
Of course you can't tell how a tube will function until you use it in your system.
This vintage cymbal was found up on a high shelf, no idea of its history. No cracks or issues whatsoever. There should be enough to pique your interest in the coming months, and you can always return for a refund.
