An excellent example of a TRUE bevel edge pocket chisel (8"OAL) - w/1" blade-width - this one is remarkably clean and barely used!
This is a GREAT price for a TRUE pocket chisel (of 1920s vintage) by TH Witherby of this condition!
This is one of my very LAST pocket chisels from my personal collection. I once owned about 3 dozen of these in various sizes - my crew & I used to keep at least one each of these tucked away in our tools belts at all times back in the 1980s & 1990s whilst doing whole house renovations. They've always been super handy little tools!
