About the author: Werner Oskar Richard Regen was born on the 18th. October 1889 in Berlin as the merchant's son Hermann Carl August Regen and Helene Wilhelmine Anna, née. Kirchhoff was born. On 12. In September 1921 he married Anna Elisabeth Günther (* 24. November 1889 in Dresden).

Werner Regen died a few months after his wedding on November 11th. April 1922 in Berlin at the age of 32. His wife died in Düsseldorf in 1970.
