Tested with 6 "D" batteries and included AC cord. Batteries are not included. Sound is loud, crisp and clear with awesome quality. Sound is heard slightly distorted in the right speaker on a higher volume. Antenna is complete , straight, extends and retracts smoothly. Dial light, digital display, tuning meter ,stereo light work perfectly. All other controls work as they should without any static or scratchiness.
