A very attractive 1953 oil on canvas board primitive painting by Toronto artist John Greenwood of a volcano possibly Mount Vesuvius.
Measures approximately 16” X 12” sight and with vintage frame 18” x 14”.
Signed and dated lower left “John Greenwood Toronto 1953”.
Painting In nice vintage condition and could possibly use a slight cleaning if you so desire.
Vintage frame which is original to the painting in good condition with one scrape to the left side which I touched up with some gold paint.
