Soviet USSR Original Navy sailor hat was made in 1980th at the Soviet military factory (see pictures of the original tag) ) according to the Ministry of Defense of USSR manual “Rules and Regulation of wearing Military Uniforms”, page 179,drawing 164 . It I made out of light wool and fully lined with cotton. Russian size 56 (approximately equal to S, 7 or 22 inches circumference). It is coming with Soviet original Soviet Hammer and Sickle cap badge. The hat is made for famous Navy school named after Admiral Nakhimov - RARE. Great for wearing and for collection. It was worn by Soviet Navy cadet but it is in excellent condition for its age. Beware of Fakes and Reproductions !!!
