I'm Selling a Beautiful 54-Piece Set (For Eight) of Stanly Roberts (Rogers Co.) "Gold Royalty"- SRB45 Pattern Gold Electroplated Stainless.
The pattern number is taken from the book "Stainless Flatware Guide" by Replacements, Ltd published by Page/Frederiksen in 1998. Thanks to the person who graciously supplied the pattern name! There isn't any mention of this pattern being issued in gold electroplate in my book, so it may be quite rare? The set was evidently made in Korea? I've sold sets of Stanley Roberts Gold electroplated stainless before, but they were always well used (though not worn through). I polished a piece to see if it would wear through and it didn't so I assume that it must be good quality.
Description: The pattern is a very intricate one and the finish is glossy with textured accents. My photos are good so I won't go on and on with a description - a picture is worth one thousand words! By using eBay's enlargement feature you can see the details very well. The wooden chest is the original one. I purchased the set several years ago at a wealthy estate sale in North-Western Wisconsin. The base stainless is heavy and very well made.
