TWO BRAUN BATTERIES “AS IS”

ORIGINAL BRAUN HOBBY GUARENTEE CERTIFICATE

 

This vintage Braun hobby electronic flash unit appears to be in very good vintage condition but is not tested so is being offered ‘as is’.  I do not know how to test it.  Please see pictures.  The leather strap is in very good condition, not rotten, the case of the unit has some scratches- scuffs and a few small marks where it looks like something hot was set on it (the flash unit? Maybe) there is no damage and all parts appear to be there features:

 

·      Leather carrying strap is currently adjusted to 34” but there is a lot of length of leather to make it longer.

·      One flash port

·      One two prong port

·      Two rectangular clear sections

·      On off switch

·      Dial that is adjusted to 115v – turns with nickel

 

The original guarantee certificate is in fair used condition, some scuffing, bending, notes written on last pages.

·      Measures 4 x 6”

·      Features punched number 519205 through all pages

·      Lists date of sale as 6/36 from Adams Camera Exchange Boston - based on this I am thinking this unit was manufactured in 1936

·      Printed in West Germany

·      Lists worldwide servicers of product

 

Plus two Braun Batteries ‘as is’.  I would be surprised if these actually worked – but they are pretty neat.  They are intact, whole, don’t have any obvious damage, show wear from use and do not have any liquid in them.

·      Measure about 2 x 2 x 1.5”

·      Have two ports that screw off

·      BRAUN is printed on the sides
