21.5cm Georgian era solid silver Austro Hungarian spoon 1810 Pecs Franciscus Schack

This antique spoon is marked to the back with a Hungarian hallmark used in 1810 in Pecs Hungary. There is a maker's mark of FS and the piece is marked 13 for 13 loth silver, an assay of 812/1000. The third and final mark is tiny and hard to decipher.

The spoon is a fine example with only a few marks from storage of use. The detail to the edge of the bowl is crisp and clean.  The silversmiths tooling marks are faintly evident to the bowls. The spoon is engraved to the end L.C.

The spoon has not been polished and has some tarnish marks. I am happy to polish it if the buyer wishes but I am also aware that some collectors like to do this themselves.

The spoon measures 215mm long and weighs 60.3gms.

Please note there are 6 spoons available and a good discount will be applied for more than one purchased.

Please note this item is original and not a modern day reproduction.
