The Killian Septum Nasal Speculum is a medical tool used by the doctors in retracting the nasal tissue for optimal visualization of the nasal cavity for examination and treatment of Nose diseases. This is preferably used in rhinoplasty procedures.
The unique design with tapered blades, single spring plier handles, and optional screw lock mechanisms to secure the blades in an open position makes it well suited for nasal surgical procedures. This speculum is placed with closed cone blades in the nares. Then, use the handles to open them slowly. The retracting edges of the blades with a blunt outline prevent tissue injury. In addition, the two blades have a large cone so you can view the nasal cavity clearly. Crafted from 100% high-grade surgical stainless steel and can be reused after sterilization.
