NOTE: THERE ARE NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR CREDIT ON THIS AIRPLANE - FOR ANY REASON.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS - PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.  PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION.  IT'S NOT PERFECT, IT SHOWS AGE, IT'S OLD FOR A TIN TOY.  HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE AND IN GOOD SHAPE FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES.  IF YOU NEED ANOTHER PICTURE TO HELP YOU OUT - PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE.

Up for your consideration is a very cool, vintage "AMERICAN AIRLINES" Tin Airplane, made by the one and only NGS!  (Made in Japan)  That is a rare piece to find.  It is approx. 50-60 years old - not sure of the exact age.  It has been played with for sure in that time and has been on display for years since.  It is made out of a tin like metal material.  Not sure of the exact metal either.  The lettering, emblems, etc are not stickers that you can feel with your fingers.  They are in the surface of the metal - factory done in other words.

The stand for the aircraft fits this aircraft.  It has a spring loaded stand that can be pulled backwards and let go of to show lift.  The only problem is that it is a little strong and would through the aircraft off of it.  Not a very good idea at this time.  It sits on there nice in the position shown and is great for display purposes.  The wheels are made out of a rubber material and are in good shape.

The aircraft is approx. 18" in length.  The wingspan is approx. 16" in width.  The base length is approx. 6" , the base width is approx. 3" (wheel to wheel) while the base height is approx. 4.5".  The aircraft slides sideways onto the base clip.  It is in three pieces as shown in the pictures.  With a little work - you could attach the wings to the fuselage if you like.  But as it sits - it sits great as the three piece unit shown in the pictures.

NGS stands for: Nipon Goraku Shokai.

Again, a very old piece, not perfect but very cool and collectable.  There are small dings, dents, and scratches.  Very rare to find at this time.  There out there - but not too many left available as far as I can find.

NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR CREDIT ON THIS AIRCRAFT.

Washington State residents are to pay their local sales tax which will be added to the final price when the invoice is emailed to them.

  • In addition to eBay feedback, we have started using an additional website for leaving feedback called ebuyer-feedback (www.ebuyer-feedback.com).   We can leave a very nice, full compliment of feedback, the same the buyer can on eBay.  This is becoming very popular with eBay sellers and we have adopted it also.
  • We will cancel a bid if we receive a "Bid Alert" from ebuyer-feedback.  If you have left bad feedback for another eBay member without making an honest effort of trying to work it out - do not bid on our auctions.
  • We always put 110% into making you a satisfied customer.  If there is a problem when the item arrives - email or call us and let us fix the wrong.  Our number is 360-318-6510.
