This is an old medieval hammered silver coin from the Italian States.

This is a one Pierreale piece, from Sicily, struck in Messina during  the reign of Frederick IV (The Simple) 1355-1377 AD.

The coin ( 24 mm diameter,3.20 gms) is in a collectable condition. There is inevitable wear but the details remain quite clear.Evidence,as usual,of a little clipping.

The coin in the photograph is the actual coin for sale.

Good attractive Italian medieval coin for any collection.
