DESCRIPTION:


Every year, when the days begin to grow shorter and the air crisper and cooler, my thoughts turn to these soft, cozy caftans...........
 
And this batch seem exceptionally nice, don't they? The Balinese batiks are truly art-to-wear quality! And the V-neckline is given extra emphasis, with inset patchwork all around the neck.
 
These caftans have the extra wide cut so that they're completely loose and unrestrictive, and arm openings are located in the side seams, creating the appearance of 3/4-length sleeves when you're wearing the caftan. There are deep vents at hem, one on each side.
 
Made up of a patchwork of compatible rayon batik fabrics that are silky, and soft and a sensuous pleasure to wear. They have a delicious drape and they're easy care as well, cold water wash, line dry, fluff in the dryer if you want.
 
As the changing seasons transform us more and more into 'home bodies,' these nurturing caftans gain in their appeal. Pair one of these with a good book (Barbara Kingsolver and Louise Erdrich are current author favorites) and a steaming cup of tea with cream and honey, and you're all set for a great evening.
